I put some tips here based on some common problems when clients want to upgrade software design by Netspec.

Instructions for upgrade:

1)You must connect to Internet since the upgrade interface will automatically download new version of files from Netspec software central server.
2)close the software if it is open or running.
3)double click Upgrade.exe to open a small upgrading window, which is in the same directory as software exe main files.
4)don't close the upgrading window until it finishes 100%

Contact Netspec if you encounter the following problems:
  • The upgrade window open up and close down immediately
  • Upgraded software does not work

    This means the software detects somethings wrong, then close automatically. The reason could be that the versions of software are not available. For example, currently version is 1.00, you want to upgrade it to version 1.22, but upgrading from 1.10 is not available, the upgrade is not allowed.

    Normally, we should upgrade from 1.21 to 1.22, or allow limited number of lower version to upgrade, for example 1.20, 1.19, 1.18 and so on upgrade to 1.22, but not from 1.00 to 1.22. In another word, 1.00 is to old. You may need to download late rest version of software.
