i really hate new window popup, but don't know hot to configure. Firefox is easy to configure, IE's tab looks not so smart.

Tools >> Tabs settings >> When pop-up is encontered Always open pop-ups in new tab

So by default, you need to Ctrl+ click a link to open pop-up to new tab, but this is not a good idea.

Is is hard to close a tab in IE?
We need to click a tab, and open again the page, then close it.
In firefox, we can close any tab directly, this is much convenient.

You cant right click on any tab to close.
Yes, Firefox is a little better, just mouse over, then close.

It is useful when we search with Google and Bing, we tend to open the result of search to new tab, but the default is to replace current page.
